Blockchain track is hot, and all forces are eyeing it. Whether it is traditional Internet giants such as bat, or the original army of industries such as Oko cloud chain, they are actively expanding their blockchain territory. However, what restricts them is the same problem &mdash& mdash; Talent is in short supply. According to Gartner, an international authoritative consulting organization, with the development of blockchain technology, China's blockchain talent gap will reach more than 750000 in the next five years. This means that if we do not strengthen the training of blockchain talents, the development of blockchain industry will face the dilemma of insufficient manpower in the future. Obviously, the giants will not wait to die. Take Alibaba's ant group as an example. The group is setting up an X cooperation plan for colleges and universities around the world to increase the recruitment and training of blockchain core technical talents.

Okiyun chain, a native enterprise in the blockchain industry, launched the "Kunpeng plan", which plans to cultivate 1000+ blockchain elites in three years. Various signs show that enterprises are becoming an important subject of blockchain talent training, which has also become an important epitome of the rapid development of China's blockchain industry. Take Alibaba as an example. Log in to the group's official recruitment website and search for the keyword "blockchain". A total of 10 pages of job lists can be popped up, with a total of 93 related jobs, covering Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou and other cities. It is worth noting that the release time of these posts is not long, and the earliest is only June 29 this year. Since July, Alibaba has released new blockchain related posts almost every day.

While Alibaba is recruiting people intensively, Baidu and Tencent are not idle. In terms of public channels, these two Internet giants are also recruiting a number of blockchain positions, including blockchain engineers, blockchain product managers, etc. In order to attract talents, the giants have shown enough sincerity. Baidu, for example, is recruiting trusted computing architects with a monthly salary of up to 60000 yuan. In addition, the display pages of all positions are marked with "15 salary", "stock option" and other words. Behind the intensive recruitment of Internet giants, on the one hand, it is to actively respond to the country's blockchain development strategy, on the other hand, it is to expand its own business boundaries. After all, the traditional Internet industry is already a red sea.

Taking okoyun chain as an example, the group was founded by Xu Mingxing, a leading figure in China's blockchain industry. Since 2013, it has focused on the R & D and commercial use of blockchain technology, and has developed into a global large-scale blockchain technology and service provider. In May this year, orco cloud chain released the "Kunpeng plan", which released hundreds of jobs during the year, of which more than six became related jobs such as blockchain technology research and application landing, and synchronously opened social recruitment and school recruitment channels. Compared with internet giants such as bat, the original army of blockchain is inferior in popularity and financial strength, but its influence in the industry cannot be underestimated, because they have built a solid moat with years of accumulation.

This can be seen from the recruitment transcript of the original army of blockchain. Recently, Ouke cloud chain was reported by CCTV. The group's human resources director revealed that nearly 300 blockchain talents were introduced in the first half of the year, an increase of 30% over the same period last year, including nearly 100 fresh graduates recruited through school recruitment. According to the statistics of liepin.com, compared with the recruitment of blockchain in 2018 and 2019, the proportion of recruitment demand of large enterprises with more than 1000 people increased from 17.9% in 2018 to 24.5% in 2019. The proportion of demand for blockchain talents in large enterprises increased, and this data continues to increase this year.

This is indeed the case. According to the 2020 new infrastructure talent report released by Laggo big data research institute, the talent demand index of the six industries directly related to new infrastructure has increased significantly, of which the talent demand of blockchain industry has increased by 67%, which is the highest in the industries related to new infrastructure. The report also points out that the average salary of new infrastructure talents is 17895 yuan per month, and the salary of blockchain industry exceeds this average &mdash& mdash; Blockchain professionals are becoming the "meat and potatoes" of the job market. However, according to Guangming Daily, due to the scarcity of blockchain practitioners, since blockchain was included in the new infrastructure category this year, blockchain technical talents "will be hard to find".

Guangming Daily quoted practitioners as saying that the blockchain industry is still in its relatively early infancy. At present, there are almost no separate disciplines for the blockchain industry in universities at home and abroad. Although employers offer generous benefits, qualified job seekers are rare. To sum up, the current talent training pace of blockchain lags behind the speed of industrial development. If we do not take action as soon as possible, the mismatch between supply and demand of blockchain talents will become more and more serious. According to Gartner, an international authoritative consulting organization, with the development of blockchain technology, China's blockchain talent gap will reach more than 750000. In fact, the state is making continuous efforts at the policy level. For example, the Ministry of human resources and social security has added two new blockchain careers, and many local governments have issued special blockchain policies to clarify the blockchain talent introduction and training plan.

Many colleges and universities are also taking positive action. According to the 2020 Research Report on the development of blockchain talents in China jointly released by interchain pulse and Liepin, 33 colleges and universities across the country have opened blockchain courses, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Zhejiang University and other well-known institutions. It is worth noting that Chengdu University of information engineering opened the country's first undergraduate major in blockchain this year. However, this major only plans to recruit 150-200 students, and these line years can graduate. For employers, whether they are Internet giants such as bat or blockchain primitives such as Oko cloud chain, if they just wait in place, even if they offer higher wages, they may still face the dilemma of being unavailable in the short term.

According to public reports, while widely recruiting talents, employers such as Baidu, Alibaba, and Ouke cloud chain have all joined the talent training army to help more "blockchain recruits" make their debut with their resource advantages. Let's take a look at Baidu first. This old giant has made efforts from three levels: school education, social cultivation and hosting events, including the launch of super chain training room and Baidu super chain college, to cultivate compound talents with theoretical knowledge and practical experience. At the same time, baidu super chain also organizes various blockchain development competitions, which not only enables developers to have a good trial of mobile phones, but also promotes the implementation of blockchain technology and talent mining.

Look at Ali again. From the recruitment information of open channels, Alibaba's blockchain talent demand is the largest. In order to increase the recruitment and training of blockchain core technical talents, Alibaba's ant group launched the X cooperation plan for colleges and universities around the world in July this year. It is understood that the plan will set up a technical team for the next 20 years to invest in research and development around the core technologies of blockchain, such as distributed ledger, asymmetric encryption, consensus mechanism, etc. At present, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Massachusetts Institute of technology, East China Normal University, Sun Yat sen University and other well-known universities at home and abroad have joined the program. Unlike Baidu and Alibaba, Tencent has not launched a major plan for blockchain talent training recently, but it can be inferred from public reports that Tencent has a long history in the internal training of blockchain talents.

Caiyige, the former general manager of Tencent blockchain business, said in an interview with Chinese entrepreneurs that technical talents are basically transformed from Tencent, because the blockchain industry is very new, and few people have done blockchain. "Just like the arrival of mobile networks in those years, it is difficult for you to recruit Android and IOS developers. We all cultivate ourselves.". While Internet giants are actively working on talent training, the primary force in the blockchain industry is not willing to be outdone. In May this year, okoyun chain clearly stated in its "Kunpeng plan" that it will comprehensively help the development of talents in the blockchain industry from the three dimensions of "talent expansion", "talent training" and "Bole plan", and plans to cultivate 1000 + elites in the blockchain field within three years.

In terms of talent training, special funds will be set up to specifically invest in the training of potential talents in blockchain. In the future, we will continue to strengthen cooperation with colleges and universities, scientific research institutions and other institutions to achieve more accurate docking of talents and explore more possibilities for talent training and technology application in China's blockchain. It is worth mentioning that in July this year, CCTV reporters paid an on-the-spot visit to Ouke cloud chain around the two newly added blockchain careers to comprehensively understand the group's talent development strategy, which attracted tracking reports from many mainstream media. It can be seen that the original army of blockchain is not inferior to the Internet giants in terms of talent training, and the ideas of all parties are basically the same. First, strengthen internal talent training.

The second is to attract external talents. The third is to seek cooperation with universities and scientific research institutions and explore joint training mode. In the short term, these attempts of employers will undoubtedly make up for the shortcomings of higher education; In the long run, many subjects, including governments, enterprises and universities, will become an indispensable part of blockchain talent training. In April this year, Tencent officially released the book "industrial blockchain". Ma Huateng pointed out in the preface that today's blockchain is expected to get out of the halo of "bitcoin", stay away from the fanatical hype, start from the bottom of the down-to-earth, and start to climb the long slope of the industrial Internet. This is precisely because since the current line month of blockchain industry development has risen to the national strategy, more and more supporting policies have been issued, the national blockchain industry has ushered in a rare development opportunity, and technological innovation and landing applications have become the mainstream.

In this context, blockchain professionals have become in short supply. The Internet giants represented by bat, as well as the original blockchain enterprises such as OKC cloud chain, rely on their own advantages to help the cultivation of industrial talents, which can not only alleviate the current shortage of talents, but also set an example for the industry and become a new force in climbing the long slope of industrial Internet. In the future, it is expected that with the joint efforts of the government, enterprises, universities and other parties, China will truly become a blockchain talent power and occupy the commanding height of the development of the global blockchain industry.
